This state park offers challenging trails that take hikers to scenic vistas to view distant ridgetops and the Scioto Valley. The park allows hunting in designated areas. Dogs are allowed at this park including on the 5 miles of hiking trails, at the picnic areas and in the campgrounds. Pets must be leashed and cleaned up after. Pets are not allowed inside any buildings. To get there from Columbus, take U.S. 23 South through Circleville 17 miles to the Delano Exit. Follow the signs to the park. The park is located 3 miles east off of U.S. 23.
