This park offers 28 miles of hiking trails including a section of the Buckeye Trail and a loop trail which goes around the lakeshore. The trails offer scenic vistas and unique outcroppings. Dogs are allowed at this park including on the hiking trails and in the campgrounds. While pets are not allowed on the designated swim beach, there is a certain pet area on the beach where they can take a dip in the water. Pets must be leashed, cleaned up after and are not allowed inside any buildings. This park permits hunting in certain areas.
