Three metroparks, Farnsworth, Bend View and Providence Metroparks are connected by this 8 mile Towpath Trail which runs along the Maumee River. From Farnsworth to Bend View Overlook is a 2.2 mile trail. From Bend View Overlook to Providence is a 6.1 mile trail. From Farnsowrth to Indianola Sheltherhouse is a .5 mile trail. From Indianola Shelterhouse Trailhead to Roche de Bout is a .6 mile trail. Dogs must be on leash and please clean up after them. The Providence Metropark entrance is located on U.S. 24 at State Route 578 across from Grand Rapids.
