This trail is located in one of the most secluded natural and pristine areas in the state - a 5,000+ acre park that is home to an abundance of bird and wildlife and a variety of ecosystems. The 1 mile doggy trail is an easy to moderate, gravel surface over gently rolling hills. This is the 1st mile of the Chestnut Trail that leads to a gate and into the forest; pets may not go beyond this point. Dogs must be sociable and under their owner's control at all times. Dogs must be kept on no more than a 6 foot leash and cleaned up after promptly.
