This 3,700 acre park features clear blue waters, woodlands, meadows and steep ravines. Boating, hiking, fishing, hunting (in certain areas) and camping are all popular activities at the park. There are over forty miles of hiking trails many of which offer scenic views. The park also has a pioneer village with fifteen historic buildings depicting life in the early 1800s. And for children, there are playgrounds located in day use areas and campgrounds. Dogs are allowed at this park including on the hiking trails and in the campgrounds. While dogs are not permitted on the swimming beaches, they can go into the water outside of the designated swim areas. Pets must be leashed, cleaned up after and are not allowed inside any buildings. To get there from Cincinnati, take Interstate 71 north to Route 73. Turn left onto Route 73. Go about 6 miles and the park entrance will be on the right.
