Located in the Springer Market Square, this public market began in 1801 and is one of the country's oldest markets. There are dozens of vendors for fresh agricultural goods and hand crafted products. The market is open from early spring until late fall on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from about 8 am until 5 pm (the lateness depending on weather). Dogs must be leashed and under their owner's control at all times.
