Timberline is popular for the skiing and snowboarding, but there are many other year round activities and recreational pursuits such as hiking the trails, taking snowshoeing trips, or lodge tours, and exploring. Dogs of all sizes are allowed on the resort grounds. Dogs are not allowed in any of the buildings, and they must be leashed at all times, and cleaned up after. Although dogs are not allowed on the groomed ski trails, they are allowed on some of the snowshoeing and hiking trails. There will be informational signs at the trailheads. Dogs are not allowed to stay in the lodging at Timberline.
