Take an award-winning guided outdoor walking tour of Portland. Their most popular tour is called The Best of Portland. This 2 to 2.5 hour morning tour features an overview of Portland including history, architecture, artwork, and more. The tour goes through downtown Portland, the Cultural District, Historic Yamhill and along the riverfront. Tours are held rain or shine on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10:30am and 3pm, from April through November. The cost is $15 per person and free for dogs and young children. At the beginning of the tour, the guide will ask if everyone is okay with dogs. If there is anyone in your tour that is uncomfortable around dogs, you might have to keep your pooch away from that person by staying on the other side of the group. The overwhelming majority of people on these tours are okay with dogs. All tours leave from the Pioneer Courthouse Square. Please note that they strongly recommend reservations, even a week or two in advance.
