Probably the most famous American battlefield, Gettysburg marked the turning point in the Civil War. Later, President Lincoln gave his famous Gettysburg Address here. Dogs are allowed to visit the outside portions of the battlefield on leash. They are not allowed into buildings or the cemetery. The battlefield consists of Auto Touring, walking and you can get tapes or CDs to guide you on your tour.
