This historic park commemorates where General Washington and his men crossed the Delaware in the dead of winter to win a major victory towards America's independence. Dogs are allowed throughout the grounds; they must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times. Dogs must be under their owner's control and well behaved, and they may not be left unattended anywhere-including vehicles. Dogs are not allowed in the visitor center or in any of the historic structures, including Bowman's Hill Tower.
