This 579+ acre state historic site offers educational and interpretive programs in addition to a variety of hiking areas, special events, demonstrations, and workshops throughout the year. Well behaved dogs are allowed on the grounds; they are not allowed in buildings. Dogs must be under their owner's control, leashed or crated, and cleaned up after at all times.
