Battlefield Park consists of 270 acres on the heights overlooking the St Lawrence River. The Plains of Abraham within the park was the location of a battle between the English and French on September 13, 1759. Throughout the park there are a number of monuments to generals from the past and a collection of ordinances from famous battles. Dogs on leash are allowed in the park. They must be cleaned up after and are not allowed in buildings.
