This fenced, off-leash dog park opened on June 14, 2006. It is Providence's first official off-leash area for dogs. The park is maintained by the Providence Dog Park Association which is looking to make some improvements to the park. To get to the dog park you can enter Gano Street Park at Gano and Power. Pass the Fox Point Community Garden and turn right. The dog park is behind the basketball courts.
