Hilton Head Island rules for Dogs! Your dog will love a getaway to Hilton Head Island, almost as much as you. The island offers over twelve miles of beach and is laced with fifty miles of paved trails for you to explore with your pet. The Sea Pines Resort also offers the 605-acre Sea Pines Forest Preserve - a dream come true for any dog. The eight miles of walking trails, open sunrise to sunset, are ideal for walking or jogging with your canine companion, just be sure to use a leash. You and your dog will never want to go home.

Don't leave your dog behind on your next vacation: come stay at The Sea Pines Resort, the perfect retreat for families and pets alike! Located on 5,000 oceanfront acres of Hilton Head Island, this luxury resort is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and Calibogue Sound, offering breathtaking views. It is just 45 miles by car from Savannah, Georgia and is easily accessible by two area airports.

Beach - The Sea Pines Resort is lined by five miles of Atlantic Ocean beach, perfect for long walks, playing fetch with your pooch or basking in the sun. From October to March, the beaches on Hilton Head Island are free-range for dogs: no leashes required and no restrictions on day parts. In April and May (until Memorial Day) as well as in September (after Labor Day), dogs must be kept on a leash between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm, but are free to roam outside these hours. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, dogs are only allowed on the beach before 10:00am and after 5:00pm, but no leash is required.

Pet Policy - Pets are permitted in designated 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom villas. Pets are not allowed in homes. Pets are restricted to one pet, under 50 lbs. A non-refundable fee will be charged at the time of the reservation. This fee varies with size of villa: one bedroom fee - $100, two bedroom - $150, three bedroom - $175, four bedroom - $200. In addition, Accidental Property Damage Insurance must be purchased. The insurance fee will be charged at the time of reservation.

Accommodations - Ideal for families and those who want to bring along their furry friends, The Sea Pines Resort's villas are individually furnished and are available in 1, 2, 3 or 4 bedroom models. There are over eighty different pet-friendly villas from which to choose.
