In addition to its historic significance as a military outpost in the late 1700's, then as a trading post in the early 1800's (still 2 buildings on site), this 210 acre park offers a fishing pond and a 1½ mile nature trail that leads into a National forest and ends at a beautiful 60 foot waterfall. Dogs are allowed throughout the park; they must be on no more than a 6 foot leash and under their owner's control at all times.
