Palmetto Islands County Park is a nature-oriented, 943 acre park designed for family and group use. It is built in a tropical setting, with bikepaths, boardwalks and picnic sites located throughout the park. There are fishing and crabbing docks, an observation Tower with play area, a nature island, seasonal waterpark, and more, Dogs on leash are allowed at this park, but not in the buildings or on the playgrounds.
