Located in the 643 acre James Island County Park, this is the only off leash dog area that also has lake access. There is drinking water for humans and pooches, water hoses for cooling/cleaning off, and bag stations with collection cans on site. The dog park is closed here each Wednesday from 7 to 9 AM for regular maintenance. Dogs must be sociable, current on all vaccinations, and under their owner's control at all times. Dogs must be leashed when not in designated off-lead areas.
