Get Map or Directions
There are 111 miles to explore on this multi-use trail (no autos). It starts at Wind Cave by Hot Springs and travels north to Bear Butte State Park. The trail is marked with brown fiberglass posts and gray diamonds on trees; maps can be obtained at park visitor centers and bookstores. Water is not available on the trail, so they suggest bringing water and be aware of where trailheads are located for easy exit and entrance. Dogs are allowed on the trails; they must be kept on a leash no more than 10 feet.
