A "splash-rageous" indoor water park and on-site restaurant are traveler-pleasing in the extreme, and the Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel has them all. Of course the water park is its ace in the hole for providing hours of great family fun. The 228-room, all non-smoking, two-story property is family-focused but it's also a convention hotel and therefore guest rooms are wired for complimentary high-speed internet access; public areas offer free Wi-Fi and business services are available in the business center. Its restaurant cooks up family-friendly fare at reasonable prices; the sports bar, bedecked with a host of flat-panel TVs displaying all the sports action of the day, appeals to fans of every stripe. Of course the Best Western is a real hit with families with young children because of the 130-foot waterslide and an activity pool, and that's in addition to the heated, seasonal, outdoor pool and hot tub. Additional hotel amenities include a well-equipped exercise room, a coin-op laundry and a game arcade. The Best Western boasts more than 60,000 square feet of convention facilities. Parking is free. This hotel permits pets for an additional fee. The Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel is located just two miles from the Great Plains Zoo and three miles from downtown Sioux Falls. It's four miles to Empire Mall (the area's largest) and Wild Water West, another water park in case you can't get your fill. It's five miles to Sertoma Butterfly House. Royal River Casino is 10 miles from the Best Western and Sioux Falls Regional Airport is three-and-a-half miles away. A real hit with families with young children, the Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel also gets good comments from older travelers, who appreciate the restaurant and bar and the comfortable rooms.
