Built by the city's founder in the late 1700s, this home and fort site affords visitors a glimpse back in time of life in colonial times. Education takes place through hands-on exhibits, authentic structures and artifacts, special events, tours, and more. Dogs are allowed on the grounds; they may only be inside buildings if they can be carried. Dogs must be well behaved, leashed, picked up after, and under owner's control at all times.
