The south side of the river has now been opened up to allow for some unleashed doggy fun. Informational signage and pet waste disposal stations have been set up along the Riverfront Parkway from the Market Street Bridge to Marine Max and the Chattanooga Green. Dogs must be current on all vaccinations and license, be sociable, and under owner's control at all times. Dogs are not allowed on the Walnut Street Bridge, the TN Aquarium Plaza, the TN Riverwalk Trails, or at Coolidge Park.
