Once the site of a hard fought battle during the Civil War, this site preserves and details its history and significance during this era. In addition to the Civil War Interpretive Center, there are living history and special events throughout the year, and a variety of historical markers, tablets, and monuments. Dogs are allowed in the park; they are not allowed in the museum. Dogs must be leashed and under their owner's control at all times.
