Located in the beautiful Brazos Bend State Park, this observatory site has 3 dome telescopes-one of them being one of the largest in the country open to the public. Dogs are allowed on the grounds; they are not allowed in buildings or under the dome, by the edge of the water, or where otherwise noted. Dogs must be short leashed and under owner's care at all times. Small dogs must be picked up and carried when walking the trails by the alligator ponds.
