This theater is located on nearly 8 acres in the heart of Hermann Park and is the only free open-air theater of its kind in the US. It is a 1,582 seat facility plus a lawn/hill area. There are several concerts every summer and many cultural festivals that culminate with a musical performance in the evenings. Hours vary some, but they are open from 8 am to 6 pm on non-show days, and until 11 pm on days there is an activity or show. Dogs are not allowed in the seated area or the middle of the lawn, and they ask that you keep pets on the outer edge of the hill seating. Dogs must be well behaved, short leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
