With Caddo at almost 18,000 acres with 3 lakes, and the LBJ Grasslands at over 20,000 acres, this forest provides a wide variety of habitats, trails, nature study, and land and water recreation. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be on no more than a 6 foot leash, unless being used for hunting during a designated hunting season where the uses of dogs are legal. Dogs are allowed everywhere unless otherwise posted. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campground.
