In addition to the historical detailing of the life of President Johnson and life as it was in the early 1900's, this park also features buffalo, deer, and longhorn herds, a seasonal pool, nature trails, historic structures and many recreational areas. Dogs are allowed throughout the park; they are not allowed in buildings or in the living history farm. Dogs may not be left unattended at any time; they must be well mannered, on no more than a 6 foot leash and under their owner's immediate control at all times.
