Home to the signing of Texas' Independence, this 293+ acre, riverside park has the Star of the Republic Museum, a working 19th century living history farm, and seasonal exhibitions and special events. It is also a popular picnicking and birding destination. Leashed dogs are allowed on the grounds; they are not allowed in buildings or at the farm site.
