Millcreek Canyon
Millcreek Canyon East End of 3800 S. Salt Lake City, Utah
801-236-3400
In the Millcreek Canyon area of the Wasatch-Cache National Forest dogs are allowed off-leash on odd numbered days. They must be leashed on even numbered days. There are many trails to take which are mostly quite strenuous. The Salt Lake Overlook Trail, for example, climbs 1,250 feet in 1.75 miles. Once there you will get a nice view of the city to the west. To get to Millcreek Canyon exit I-215 at 3300 or 3900 South. Go to 3800 S. and head east to the canyon.
