The Rosebud Guest House is a perfect place for travelers with dogs - for an overnight or a vacation stay! All dogs are absolutely free! No deposit, no charge, no weight limits! If you travel with horses, mules, llamas, or other small groups of livestock, they stay for free, too (although please bring your own feed). And the guest house is affordable for people - per night it's $50 for one, $10 for each additional adult, and $5 for children under 13. You can run your dog off-leash on miles of trails in the mountains on either side of the Red Creek Canyon where we're located. We're within easy driving distance of national forest lands, lakes, and rivers where dogs are welcome (and we can steer you away from the few places nearby where they're not). The Rosebud Guest House is on the Red Creek in Fruitland, UT (western Duchesne County), just 4 miles south of U.S. Highway 40 on the Lower Red Creek Road. We're under two hours from Salt Lake City, Provo, Price, Ogden, and Vernal. You'll breathe crystal clear air under clear skies. The guest house can sleep up to 12 people (8 separate beds). It has a full kitchen with everything you need to prepare and serve meals - you just bring your food and drink. There's a full bath with shower and tub, plus a covered deck, BBQ grill, picnic table, and campfire ring. We're close to great fishing, hiking, mountain-biking, horse-riding trails, bird and wildlife watching, sight-seeing, golfing, boating, historical and archeological sites, and more. As an added amenity, we own and operate Rosebud Llamas Utah and offer day hikes, training clinics, and other activities with llamas. The guest house is located on the premises. For something different during your stay, you may wish to take a catered day hike with llamas. Dogs can come along, too, as long as they're well-behaved with the llamas. Google Rosebud Llamas Utah for more information or follow a link from the guest house website. Please contact us for more information or to make a reservation (required). |
