Dogs must be on leash and must be cleaned up after to stop at trail sites and points of interest on this trail. Dogs are not allowed in buildings. Mainly an auto touring event. This trail represents the 250,000 plus gold-seekers and farmers who traveled to the gold fields and rich farmlands of California during the 1840s and 1850s. Considered to be the greatest mass migration in American history.
