Steeped in a rich cultural and revolutionary history, in April 1865 this was the site where agreements were made to end the Civil War, and the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments to the Constitution were enacted as a result. Dogs are allowed throughout the property and on the trails. They must be under their owner's control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times. Dogs may never be tied up and left unattended, and they are not allowed in any of the buildings.
