Located on 550 wooded acres on the shores of Lake Maury, this is one of the world's largest international maritime history museums. Here visitors can also see a full-scale replica of the Civil War ironclad USS Monitor and they have an annual 5-week concert series each summer. Dogs are allowed throughout the park and on the trails; they are not allowed in buildings. Dogs must be under their owner's control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
