Located on a barrier island, this 9000 acre park is home to a vast number of bird and wildlife, migrating birds, and habitats. They also offer various educational opportunities. Dogs are not allowed here in the summer at all; they are allowed from November 1st to March 31st in areas open to the public only. Dogs must be leashed, or under strict voice control when not crowded, and cleaned up after at all times.
