Basset Rescue of Old Dominion (BROOD) was formed in the fall of 1996 by a small group of Basset Hound lovers who wanted to offer a more customer friendly approach to adopting a basset. BROOD finds homes for around 150 basset hounds every year in the Mid-Atlantic area.
