Rich in folklore, this park of 4,868 acres with a 168 acre lake provides a variety of land and water recreation, but the Fairy Stones (naturally formed crosses in small rocks) are the real attraction in this park. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for an additional $3 per night per pet for camping, and for $5 per night per pet for cabins. Cabins are available year round. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after in camp areas. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, in the water, or at the conference center. Dogs are allowed on the trails. This campground is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. Dogs are allowed in the camping cabins.
