Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and built around 1820 as a roadside inn and tavern, it once served the needs of the "ordinary" traveler, and now provides visitors extra-ordinary accommodations and fare, and close proximity to a number of area attractions and activities. Dogs are allowed in the garden cottage for an additional fee of $25 per night per pet (adjustable for multiple days). Dogs must be friendly (other animals on site), well mannered, leashed or crated when out of the cottage, and cleaned up after at all times.
