This is the parks largest and southern-most camp area, and sitting atop a mountain at 3,400 feet it offers great panoramic views. There are 219 fairly secluded sites available on a first come first served basis and by reservation, and the camp area provides restrooms, showers, a laundry, picnic tables, fire grates, amphitheater, a camp store, dump station, and close by is a restaurant and gas station. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs must be under their owner's control, on no more than a 6 foot leash or securely crated, and cleaned up after at all times. Dogs are not to be left unattended. Dogs are not allowed on about 14 miles of the trails; please ask the attendant at the gate for a list of the trails. Dogs are not allowed in buildings. This RV park is closed during the offseason. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
