More than 15 miles of trails winding through a variety of wildlife habitats, fields of wildflowers, ponds, and wooded areas are maintained by the Hazen Notch Association for public use in summer and fall. Trails are closed to all hikers during winter and spring mud season from December 15th to May 19th. Trail information can be obtained at the Bear Paw Pond and High Ponds Farm parking areas, or at the Welcome Center (partially staffed in summer/fall) where maps and nature brochures are available outside if no one is on site. Dogs must be under their owner's control; kept on a short leash at all times (no retractables), and be cleaned up after.
