Home to one of the most unique ecosystems in the world, this refuge provides a variety of habitats to a large animal and birdlife population. Some of the features here include a 5-mile auto tour, interpretive signage, environmental education sites, plenty of multi-use trails, and about 2,300 acres for public use. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. They must be kept on the trails and in public use areas. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times.
