This gorgeous, 20 acre day-use park features lush lawns, expansive gardens (they plant more than 20,000 flowers annually), outstanding views of the ocean and the surrounding area, and an impressive Peace Arch that stands astride the boundary of the United States and Canada. The arch commemorates treaties and agreements that arose from the War of 1812. Some of the amenities include picnic areas, interpretive programs/signs, recreational programs, horticultural displays, and peace concerts. Dogs of all sizes are allowed throughout the park, but not in buildings or planted areas. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times-please bring supplies.
