From rainforest to glacier capped mountains, this forest's diverse and impressive eco-system is home to 8 plants and 15 animals that are not found anywhere else on earth. It also provides an abundant variety of year round recreational pursuits. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed in the camp areas and the parking lot at Hurricane Ridge; dogs are not allowed on the trails. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campground.
