This refuge of about 30,000 acres is located within the Columbia Basin of central Washington, and provides a variety of diverse environments that supply critical habitats for numerous species. To tour the refuge drive NW from Othello on McManamon Road, then turn North on Morgan Lake Road (the major north/south public road that takes you through the center of the refuge). There are maps available at the Main Street office, and at almost every parking area inside the refuge. Dogs are welcome, but they must be under their owner's control and leashed at all times. Please bring supplies to clean up after your pet.
