This forest has over 9000 acres of rustic forest along some 70 miles of the Peshtigo River. There is ample hiking, canoeing, boating, fishing, hunting, and more at this day use only park. Dogs do not have to be on lead as long as there is voice control, although they suggest dogs be on lead by the boat launches. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they are not allowed on the ski trails once there is snow.
