There are numerous dog-friendly trails in the forest, many of which are located between the town of Cody and Yellowstone National Park. One of the trails is the Eagle Creek Trail, which is about 16 miles long, at an elevation of 6700 to 9900 feet with a hiking difficulty of moderate. This trail is located off Highways 14 and 16, between Cody and Yellowstone.
