This tour of the Cody area offers much more than you would expect from an hour long tour, and is a great way to learn about the area and its history. Each hour is a multi-media performance choreographed to the sites and sounds you are passing by. The tour is taken in trolley cars, and begins from the porch of the Historic Irma Hotel. Two energetic guides offer witty narration of the old west and the best "new west" attractions. You'll hear the Buffalo Bill and Annie Oakley stories, travel through three tunnels bored more than 3/4 of a mile through Rattlesnake Mountain, view historic statues and sites; you'll see Tecumseh's Miniature Village - the west's largest model railroad layout, and a whole lot more. Friendly, well behaved dogs on leash are allowed at no additional fee if no one on the tour is allergic to them, and please clean up after your pet.
