Medicine Wheel National Historic Landmark

Designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1970, this 80 foot diameter Medicine Wheel is located in the Bighorn National Forest atop Medicine Mountain at an elevation of over 9,600 feet. This site is considered sacred by several tribes with evidence of activity here for more than 7,000 years. Leashed dogs are allowed on site.
