| Closest Motel/RV park to east entrance of Yellowstone National Park, twenty (20) miles west of Cody, one (1) mile east of the Shoshone National Forest, set in beautiful Wapiti Valley directly on US HWY 14/16/20. Surrounded by mountains, this stopover offers wonderful views, a playground, picnic areas, BBQ grills, with large grassy areas for walking pets. Restaurants, laundry, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, hunting, and convenience store/gas station next door or nearby. Dogs are generally allowed (under owners control) anywhere on property, $10 per night per pet ($5.00 additional pet) in motel rooms and in the RV Park for no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended/tied/crated or in vehicles at night. Some pet services are available (ie: pet sitting; fenced grassy play areas; etc) upon request. Rates start at $69.00 (motel/seasonal) with discounts available. |
