The trail rut site details the history of the passage of 1000's of wagons as they forged their way westward - some of the ruts carved into the sandstone rocks being up to 4 feet deep. The Register Cliff towers over the valley floor and has signatures that have been being inscribed since the mid-1800s. The cliff site is 3 miles south of H 26 on Wyoming Avenue, and upon the return toward Guernsey follow the signs to the trail site. Leashed dogs are allowed at both sites.
