WARNING:
Ashland Oregon is one of the least dog-friendly towns on the West Coast. Dog owners whose dog so much as steps one foot into most city parks, except the one off-leash dog park on the outskirts of town, can be fined $250.00. The police are aggressive  in enforcement - especially in the downtown green. Signs are not readily visible in all spots. Even leashed dogs are not even allowed to walk along the walkway next to the river through town. Best to just keep on driving on I-5.

If you find a place that has a different pet policy than what we have stated, or a place that is no longer dog-friendly, or you want to recommend a dog-friendly place, please let us know by sending us an email. And before hitting the road with your best friend, check out our Dog Travel Etiquette page.
