There are approximately 170 miles of tree lined shoreline at this lake. This is a popular lake for boating and fishing. It is the only lake in California that is stocked with White Bass fish. There is also a good population of largemouth and smallmouth bass. The lake offers over 400 campsites and RV sites have both full or partial hook ups. Dogs are allowed around and in the lake. They must be on leash and attended at all times. There is a $5 per day charge for dogs. The lake is located west of Hwy 101, seventeen miles north of Paso Robles. Take the 24th Street (G-14 West) exit in Paso Robles and proceed west on G-14 to the lake.
